Schedule: Phnom Penh-Kampot-Sihanouk Ville-Siem Reap

Day 1:   Phnom Penh Arrival
You will be welcomed upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport and transfer to the hotel/ or meet at your hotel
Visit National Museum, over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statu, lingas and other artifacts. Visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of
royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh. Day 2:   Phnom Penh – Kampot (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Kampot and en-rout stop to visit Tonle Bati is a lake and popular picnic spot; there are two Angkorian temples, Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau, both of which offer some interesting basreliefs in fairly good condition. Both temples were built under Jayavaraman VII in the late 12th century.
Visit Prasat Neang Khmau, consist of two deteriorating brick Prasats (towers) built in Angkorian-era in the 10th century A.D. Under King Jayavarman IV.
Take boat from Takeo town to Phnom Da, a pre-Angkorian laterite tower (6th century) with some carvings in good condition. The temple was constructed under King Rudravarman and dedicated to Shiva. Continue to Kampot and upon arrival town check-in at hotel.

Day 3:   Kampot – Sihanouk Ville (B)

Visit Phnom Chngouk Temple, located about 8 km east of Kampot. There is brick temple within the
cave that dates back to the Funan period. It has over the course of millions of year, grown into an almost prefect linga.
Continue to Sihanoukville. Upon arrival check-in at hotel Short tour of the city. Dinner at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel.

Day 4:   Sihanouk Ville (B)

Today enjoy for free at your leisure to soak up the sun and sand at Sihanouk Ville’s beautiful white beaches.

Day 5:   Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh (B)
Breakfast at hotel
Free at leisure, enjoy swimming with beautiful beach. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, drive back to Phnom Penh, upon arrival check in to the hotel.

Day 6:   Phnom Penh – Kampong Thom - Siem Reap (B)

Depart for Kampong Thom province and make a half way brief stop at Skun village for photograph of local deep fried-spiders then continue to visit Sambor Prei Kuk. It is a former capital and was previously named Ey San Borak, built during reign of King Isanavarman I in the 7th century.
Lunch at local restaurant. Continue journey to Siem Reap, en-route stop at Naga Bridge (Spean Prabthes) was built by King Jayavarman VII on the 12th century by laterite stone.

Day 7:   Siem Reap (B)

Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle.
Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples complex on earth and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters.

Day 8:   Siem Reap (B)

Visit Banteay Srei, constructed at the late 10th century by a Brahmin counselor under a powerking Rajendarvarman. It was loosely translated to citadel of the woman, but it is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings.
En-route stop at Pre Rub (turn the body), was constructed in late 10th century dedicated to Hindu gods. This reflects the  common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple.
Visit Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks. Continue to Neak Pean, a small island temple located in the middle of the last Baray, constructed by a Khmer king in the Angkor area.

Day 9:   Siem Reap (B)

We begin with a drive through scenic rural Cambodia to Boeng Mealea temple. Mid-morning we arrive at King Suryavarman II’s eleventh century Boeng Mealea temple stands almost forgotten in jungle and getting to the site is quite an adventure in itself.  It is the largest and the most interesting temple outside the main Angkor complex and in places it is remarkably intact, but in other places utterly destroyed; tree roots envelop many of the temple walls and doorways.

Day 10:   Siem Reap Departure (B)

Drive to Chong Kneas to visit the fishing village by a private boat. Cruise through the fishing villages of the Tonle Sap Lake to discover the natural splendor and old lifestyle of the country.
Lunch at local restaurant
Visit Artisan d’Angkor, where it is famous for its traditional craft skills products are available such stone caving, wood caving, lacquering, gilding and silk processing.
Free at leisure till transfer to Siem Reap International airport for your onward journey
