Saigon
07:30 am
08:00AM. Pick up at your hotel in Saigon, we kick start our day with a pleasant 65km drive through the beautiful country dotted with paddy fields and rubber plantations. You are going to visit a massive underground network located near by the area once called “Iron Triangle” and was the termination of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The tunnels were designed by local guerrillas as a “springboard for attacking Saigon.” The area was used for infiltrating Saigon-intelligence agents, part cadres, and sabotage teams. The Tết Offensive of 1968 was prepared and the necessary troops and supplies assembled in the Củ Chi tunnels. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. The role of the tunnel systems was so important to the Viet Cong in resisting American operations and protracting the war, and eventually persuading the weary Americans into withdrawal. Some tunnels have been made larger to accommodate the larger sized western tourists, while low-power lights have been installed in several of them to make traveling through them easier and booby traps have been clearly marked.13:00pm: Return Saigon. Drop off at your hotel. End of the services.

Less touristy made our day , got ample time to spend with Hein to Ben Duoc tunnels section . it was a nice day learning about tunnels and tons of things Hein told . it s must visit to Saigon . Pretty decent service and nice hospitality.
My girlfriend and I had an awesome time at the Cu Chi Tunnel. Duc, our tour guide, made our experience memorable. He was very informative and knowledgable. He’s also entertaining and has a good sense of humor. we highly recommend booking your next future tour with him!
We definitely had the best tour guide. Nick Ut survived the Vietnam war and brought it to life throughout what was a very informative tour. Other tours were trying to listen in as he told his stories. A truly humble and generous man. A very tasty lunch included. Also, we couldn’t find the pick up point in HCM, but the tour company phoned and found us. Excellent customer service. A really good day. Thank you Nick and Vietnam Guiding
Transport arrived on time and was super comfortable especially given the heat outside. The amazing guide Tam was our guide for the day, he was fantastic. There are many guides who could learn from his perfect blend of humour, engagement, knowledge and ability to help us enjoy the day. Crawling through the tunnel and enjoying a beautiful lunch really added to the tour. Thank you Vietnam Guiding Tours and a big thank you to our guide Tam. Not often you get a tour guide who also used to be a history teacher.
Hein was a great guide. He is an ex-history teacher who taught us a lot about Vietnamese history and showed us an unbiased video about the Vietnam war instead of the “propaganda” video at Cu Chi. His passion for his job really shone through and we found him very funny and entertaining. great tour, thank you Hein!
